8x8 asks for a live, public website whose brand name matches your registration, an SMS disclaimer on your Contact Us form, and a privacy policy line saying mobile information is not shared for marketing. 8x8's rejection codes, such as CR4015, CR5001 and CR6002, point to a missing opt-in link, terms link or no-sharing statement.
This page is for 8x8 Work admins in the US and Canada who need SMS turned on, or whose campaign came back rejected. 8x8 Work sends texts from local US and Canadian numbers. 8x8's FAQ says toll-free and virtual numbers cannot be used for SMS in 8x8 Work, so this is a 10DLC registration.
10DLC Site is not affiliated with or endorsed by 8x8. Provider names are used only to describe where information goes. This page describes the flow as documented at the time of writing (Updated September 2026). Screens change, so follow what you see in your account.
8x8 uses A2P 10DLC through The Campaign Registry (TCR). You submit it yourself in 8x8 Admin Console with full administrator access. 8x8 says carriers approve or reject campaigns, not 8x8. Its support team does review your campaign before it goes out and tells you when the carrier responds.
The campaign use case is fixed at UCaaS Low Volume, because 8x8 Work SMS is built for conversational business texting.
8x8's form has fewer URL fields than many platforms. The website goes in the brand form, and your opt-in and privacy links go inside the text of the campaign form.
| Item | Where it goes in 8x8 |
|---|---|
| Business website | Your Brand form, Website field. 8x8 says it must be live and public, and the brand name on the site must match your registration exactly. |
| Opt-in page (Contact Us) | Your Campaign form, Call-to-action field. 8x8's web-form template includes your Contact Us page link. |
| Privacy policy | Referenced in the Call-to-action text. Its link also goes in the SMS disclaimer on your form. |
| Terms and conditions | Linked from your opt-in form (code CR4007). 8x8 says a Contact Us disclaimer can stand in if you have no terms page. |
| Support email | Your Brand form. 8x8 says to use an address at your brand's domain, not Gmail or Yahoo. |
The flow, based on 8x8's docs:
8x8's registration article names two website items as the most common reasons campaigns are rejected:
Beyond that, 8x8's prerequisites ask for a valid online presence, a privacy policy that explains how you collect, use and share data, and matching business name, phone and address.
