Rejected by carriers? The website is one of the most common reasons. Fix it today →

If you send business texts to US numbers through Twilio, you register a brand and a campaign. Reviewers look at your website to confirm your business is real and that people agree to get your texts. Twilio has added many specific error codes for website problems, so a weak site is easy to spot.

10DLC Site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Twilio. Provider names are used only to describe where information goes. This page describes the flow as documented at the time of writing (Updated September 2026). Screens change, so follow what you see in your account.

Where do the website URLs go in Twilio's registration?

URL Where it goes in Twilio
Business website (homepage) Brand registration. Twilio lists website among the Standard brand details, next to legal name and tax ID.
Privacy policy Campaign registration. Console has a Privacy Policy URL field (added Feb 18, 2026). The API field is PrivacyPolicyUrl.
Terms and conditions (with SMS terms) Campaign registration. Console has a Terms & Conditions URL field. The API field is TermsAndConditionsUrl.
Opt-in page or opt-in evidence Campaign Message Flow. Twilio asks for a direct link to the opt-in page. If the page is gated, give a public URL to screenshots.

Here is the flow in plain steps, based on Twilio's docs:

  1. Register your brand with your exact legal business name, tax ID, and business website.
  2. Create a campaign. Pick the use case and write the campaign description.
  3. Write your Message Flow. Twilio allows 40 to 2,049 characters. List every way people opt in, and include the direct link to your signup page.
  4. Paste your privacy policy and terms URLs into their own fields. Before Feb 18, 2026, Twilio asked for these inside the Message Flow text.
  5. Add 2 to 5 sample messages. Include your brand name and put variables in [brackets].
  6. Submit, then check status at Console > Messaging > Regulatory Compliance > Campaigns.

Included in your Registration Kit: the campaign description, Message Flow text, and 3 to 5 sample messages written for your use case, plus all four URLs and your business details, ready to paste into Twilio. Build my order →

What does Twilio check on your website?

Twilio's business info guide says The Campaign Registry runs automated checks that capture a screenshot of your site. Twilio lists these checks:

  • The site works and matches your brand. It must be functional and show a clear link to your registered business name. It is rejected if it is unreachable, parked or for sale, needs a login, or redirects to an unrelated brand or domain.
  • Real business content. Error 30919 flags sites that are empty, under development, private, password protected, or misspelled, or that do not show your business name, contact details, and services.
  • A public privacy policy. No login. It should say you do not share mobile numbers, and mention message frequency and that message and data rates may apply.
  • Public terms. No login or download, on the same domain as your website, with no redirect to another domain. Error 30934 adds that the URL must be https.
  • A clear opt-in. Twilio's blog calls opt-in a major cause of rejections. The SMS checkbox must be unchecked by default, and the consent text must mention that message and data rates may apply.

What are common Twilio rejections tied to the website?

These error codes come from Twilio's error docs. Each links to a page that explains the fix.

Code What it means (paraphrased) Fix page
30907 Website does not match the brand, campaign, consent flow, or samples, or it does not work Website does not match brand

30892 Public link shorteners or non-https links in sample messages Sample messages mismatch
30893 Sample messages missing, unclear, or not matching the use case Sample messages mismatch

For privacy (30908), Twilio's fix is one clear policy. It should state that mobile numbers and messaging consent data are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

How much does a Twilio resubmission cost, and how long does review take?

Twilio error 30922 says the vetting fee is assessed only once per campaign. Editing and resubmitting the same campaign does not add a new fee. Twilio advises editing the rejected campaign rather than deleting it. Check Twilio's current pricing page for amounts.

On timing, Twilio's quickstart says brands are typically approved within a few minutes. Campaigns typically take several days, and currently 10 to 15 days due to volume. Error 30922 says standard campaigns can take up to several weeks, while Sole Proprietor campaigns are typically decided within hours to days.

How do I get a website that passes Twilio review?

Use this checklist before you submit:

  1. The site is live, public, and matches your legal business name. See brand name match.
  2. It shows your services and contact details. See business contact info and content pages.
  3. It loads over https. See SSL and HTTPS.
  4. It has one privacy policy with a no-sharing statement. See privacy policy.
  5. It has SMS terms on the same domain. See SMS terms.
  6. It has an opt-in form with an unchecked SMS checkbox and full disclosure text. See opt-in form.
  7. It is not parked or "coming soon." See no parked sites.

10DLC Site builds these pages for you and gives you the exact URLs to paste into Twilio: homepage, privacy policy, terms, and opt-in page. You still submit the registration yourself, and carriers make the final decision. For other providers, see the any-provider guide.
