What website does Kixie need for 10DLC registration?

Quick answer

Kixie requires a company website, an email on the same domain, and public privacy policy and terms URLs hosted on that website before you register. The privacy policy needs SMS language and a no-sharing statement. The terms need an SMS section with frequency, rates, STOP, HELP, and support contact. You register under Manage, then 10DLC.

This page is for sales teams using Kixie's power dialer and SMS on US numbers. Kixie says 10DLC registration is required to send SMS to US mobile carriers, and that unregistered messages are blocked. You submit the brand and campaign yourself, and The Campaign Registry and carriers decide.

10DLC Site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kixie. Provider names are used only to describe where information goes. This page describes the flow as documented at the time of writing (Updated September 2026). Screens change, so follow what you see in your account.

Which registration does Kixie use, and who submits it?

Kixie uses A2P 10DLC, and you submit it in the Kixie Dashboard under Manage, then 10DLC. You register two things: a brand (your business identity) and a campaign (how you send messages and how people opt in). Kixie says 10DLC applies to texts sent to US carriers and is not required when texting non-US numbers such as Canada.

What does Kixie require before you submit?

Kixie lists these basic requirements. If you do not meet them, Kixie says you are not eligible to register.

Requirement What Kixie asks for
Legal business name, EIN, address Must match your records
Authorized contact A person who can act for the business
Company website A live site for the business
Company email On a domain that matches the website
Privacy policy URL Hosted on your company website, public, 10DLC compliant
Terms and conditions URL Hosted on your company website, public, 10DLC compliant
Business type Not on the excluded list

In the campaign, Kixie asks for a description, at least two sample messages, and a full description of how people consent. Kixie calls the consent section the most heavily reviewed part of the registration.

Included in your Registration Kit: the campaign description, consent (opt-in) description, and sample messages written for your use case, plus your homepage, privacy policy, terms, and opt-in page URLs, ready to paste into Kixie. Build my order →

What does Kixie say carriers check on your website?

  • Privacy policy. Public, with SMS-specific language, an explanation of how SMS information is used, and a statement that SMS consent is not sold or shared for marketing. Kixie says missing sharing language is a common rejection. See privacy policy.
  • Terms. An SMS section with a program description, message frequency, message and data rates, STOP, HELP, and support contact. Kixie says missing HELP, STOP, or contact info is a common rejection. See SMS terms.
  • Web form opt-in. SMS consent needs its own checkbox. It must be optional and unchecked by default. It cannot be bundled with terms, privacy policy, email consent, voice calling consent, or AI calling consent. See opt-in form.
  • The site stays up. Kixie's maintenance article says your website and privacy policy must stay online while the campaign is in use.

Kixie also covers verbal opt-in and text-to-join keywords. For keywords, it says the keyword, the opt-in reply, and your public call-to-action must all match.

Why was my Kixie 10DLC campaign rejected?

Kixie emails you the rejection reason from The Campaign Registry. These are the common causes Kixie lists, with our fix pages.

Common rejection Kixie lists Fix page
SMS consent bundled with terms or privacy acceptance Opt-in form
Privacy policy lacks SMS sharing and data-use language Privacy policy missing SMS language
Terms lack HELP, STOP, or support contact Missing SMS terms
Description too vague, or no mention of consent Campaign rejected: next steps
Description does not match sample messages Sample messages mismatch
Marketing and support mixed without explanation Sample messages mismatch
Business type on the excluded list Prohibited content

How long does Kixie review take, and what does it cost?

Kixie's confirmation email says to expect an update in about 1 to 2 weeks. Once approved, Kixie starts linking your SMS numbers automatically, which it says can take up to 2 hours. There is no dashboard indicator for a linked number, only the SMS alert Kixie sends.

Kixie's help center does not publish its 10DLC registration or vetting fees at the time of writing. It lists average outbound SMS pricing of $0.01 to $0.02 per SMS unit to US or Canadian numbers. Ask Kixie support for current 10DLC fees.

What Kixie details trip people up?

  • Excluded industries. Kixie's list includes real estate and third-party lead generation, which surprises many sales teams. Check it before you pay for anything.
  • One brand per campaign. Kixie says texts must represent the brand approved in your registration. A sister company needs its own campaign.
  • Stay on topic. Texts must match the approved use case. A new use case needs a new campaign.
  • Keep consent records. Kixie asks you to store the phone number, date and time, source, form URL, and exact consent wording, since carriers may ask for proof.
  • Revocation is serious. Kixie says if carriers revoke your campaign, you are not assured of texting again on any provider.

How do I get a website that passes Kixie review?

  1. Match your legal name and use a same-domain email. See brand name match.
  2. Show services and contact details. See business contact info.
  3. Serve pages over https. See SSL and HTTPS.
  4. Host a privacy policy with SMS and no-sharing language. See privacy policy.
  5. Host terms with an SMS section. See SMS terms.
  6. Use a separate, optional, unchecked SMS checkbox. See opt-in form.
  7. Keep the site live, not parked. See no parked sites.

10DLC Site builds these pages on your own domain and gives you the URLs to paste into Kixie. You still submit the registration yourself, and carriers make the final decision. If a reviewer flags your website, we fix the website free.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I register for 10DLC in Kixie?

In the Kixie Dashboard, go to Manage, then 10DLC. You submit the registration yourself. Kixie then emails you that The Campaign Registry is reviewing it, and emails again when the campaign is approved or rejected.

How long does Kixie 10DLC approval take?

Kixie's confirmation email says you should hear back in about 1 to 2 weeks. After approval, Kixie links your SMS numbers automatically. It says linking is a carrier-level step that can take up to 2 hours, and it texts your numbers when linking starts and ends.

Does my privacy policy have to be on my own website for Kixie?

Yes. Kixie's basic requirements list a privacy policy URL and a terms URL hosted on your company website. Both must be public, with no login. Kixie also asks for a company email on a domain that matches the website.

What is the most common Kixie 10DLC rejection?

Kixie says bundling SMS consent with terms or privacy acceptance is one of the most common reasons campaigns are rejected. The SMS checkbox must be its own box, optional, and unchecked by default. Vague descriptions and samples that do not match are also common.

What does Kixie do if my campaign is rejected?

Kixie says it emails you the rejection reason given by The Campaign Registry so you can register again with the fix. Kixie's help center does not publish a resubmission fee, so ask Kixie support about cost before you resubmit.

Which businesses cannot register for 10DLC on Kixie?

Kixie's help center lists high-risk financial services, real estate, third-party lead generation, debt collection and forgiveness, get-rich-quick or MLM, SHAFT sales, illegal substances including cannabis, and gambling. If your business is on that list, Kixie says you are not eligible.
