What website does Aircall need for A2P 10DLC registration?

Quick answer

Aircall needs a working website that matches your brand name, with a privacy policy and terms and conditions on it. You enter the website in the business section and paste direct links to the privacy policy and terms in the submission step. An optional opt-in screenshot URL must be public. Carrier vetting usually takes 5 to 30 business days.

This page is for sales and support teams that text US customers from Aircall local numbers. Aircall says you must register for A2P 10DLC to send SMS or MMS to US numbers from US or Canadian local numbers, even if your company is based outside the US. You fill out the form yourself in the Aircall Dashboard, and The Campaign Registry and the carriers review it.

10DLC Site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Aircall. Provider names are used only to describe where information goes. This page describes the flow as documented at the time of writing (Updated September 2026). Screens change, so follow what you see in your account.

Which registration does Aircall use, and who submits it?

Aircall uses A2P 10DLC for local numbers, and you submit it. Go to Aircall Dashboard, then Numbers, then A2P Registration (US), then Create campaign. The form has three parts: business information, messaging use cases, and a submission step.

Toll-free numbers are different. Aircall says US and Canadian toll-free numbers need their own verification, and you start it by contacting Aircall support. That request asks for your business name and website, a use case description, sample messages, and an opt-in description with proof (a link, image, or scan). The website checks are close to the 10DLC ones. See toll-free verification.

Where do the website URLs go in Aircall's registration?

What does Aircall check on your website?

Aircall's submission guide spells out what each page must contain. Reviewers compare these pages with your form.

  • Website. It must work and match your brand name. Aircall also asks for a contact email on a domain tied to your brand.
  • Privacy policy. It should explain what data you collect and how you use it, and say mobile information will not be shared with third parties. See privacy policy.
  • Terms and conditions. Aircall's list includes brand name, a description of the messages, "message and data rates may apply," message frequency, support contact, HELP and STOP instructions shown in bold, a privacy policy link, and a line that carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See SMS terms.
  • Opt-in disclosure. It must name the brand, the message types, frequency, rates, HELP, STOP, links to privacy and terms, and say consent is not a condition of purchase. See opt-in form.
  • Separate marketing consent. If your campaign mixes marketing with other messages, Aircall says marketing opt-in must be collected separately.

Why was my Aircall SMS registration declined?

Aircall's FAQ and status pages list these as common reasons. Each links to a fix page.

Reason Aircall lists (paraphrased) Fix page
Opt-in process is inaccurate or cannot be verified Opt-in not verifiable
Brand information is inaccurate or invalid Brand EIN mismatch
Use case description is vague or inaccurate Campaign rejected: next steps
Sample messages are vague or incomplete Sample messages mismatch
Call-to-action or Message Flow lacks detail Opt-in not verifiable
Use case does not match what you actually send Sample messages mismatch
Phone number in the wrong format Use E.164 for contact phone and 11-digit format for included numbers

A declined campaign shows the status Declined. Click Update ticket and send corrected details in the support ticket.

How long does Aircall review take, and what does it cost?

Aircall says brand and campaign registration usually take one business day. Carrier vetting takes 5 to 30 business days, and number association takes about one more business day. Its submission guide also says the whole process can take up to 30 days.

At the time of writing, Aircall lists these fees, which it bills later as a pass-through:

Fee Amount listed by Aircall
Standard brand (one time) $46
Low volume or sole proprietor brand (one time) $4.50
Vetting attempt $15 per attempt, non-refundable
Monthly campaign fee $10 single use case, $1.50 low volume, $2 sole proprietor

Because each vetting attempt has a fee, a second try costs money. Check Aircall's current help center for amounts.

What Aircall details trip people up?

  • Legal name characters. Aircall accepts only letters, numbers, hyphens, and ampersands in the company name, and it must match your tax returns.
  • Brand name vs website. The brand name should be the one customers see and the one on your website.
  • Only Aircall numbers. The included numbers field is for Aircall numbers only.
  • Lending. Answer Yes to the direct lending question if you offer loans, credit, or financing by SMS.
  • The AI check is not a decision. Aircall says Ready to submit does not mean approval.

How do I get a website that passes Aircall review?

  1. Show the same name you registered. See brand name match.
  2. List your services and contact details. See business contact info and content pages.
  3. Serve every page over https. See SSL and HTTPS.
  4. Publish a privacy policy with a no-sharing statement. See privacy policy.
  5. Publish terms with HELP and STOP in bold. See SMS terms.
  6. Add an opt-in form with an unchecked SMS box and full disclosure. See opt-in form.
  7. Keep the site live, not parked. See no parked sites.

10DLC Site builds these pages and gives you the URLs to paste into Aircall. You still submit the registration yourself, and carriers make the final decision. If a reviewer flags your website, we fix the website free.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I register for A2P 10DLC in Aircall?

In the Aircall Dashboard, open Numbers and click the A2P Registration (US) button, then Create campaign. You fill in business details, messaging use cases, and a submission step with your numbers, privacy policy link, and terms. Aircall opens a support ticket to track the review.

How much does Aircall charge for A2P 10DLC registration?

At the time of writing, Aircall's help center lists a $46 one-time fee for a standard brand, $4.50 for a low-volume or sole proprietor brand, $15 per vetting attempt, and monthly campaign fees from $1.50 to $10. Aircall passes these fees through later. Check Aircall's current help center before you act.

How long does Aircall A2P 10DLC approval take?

Aircall says brand and campaign registration usually happen within one business day, carrier vetting takes 5 to 30 business days, and linking numbers usually takes one more business day after vetting. The carriers and The Campaign Registry do the review, not Aircall.

What do I do if my Aircall campaign is declined?

Open A2P Registration in the Numbers tab and click Update ticket on the declined campaign. Read what is missing, then send corrected details in that support ticket. Aircall's help center lists a $15 fee per vetting attempt, so fix everything before you resubmit.

Does Aircall's Check with AI mean my campaign will be approved?

No. Aircall says a Ready to submit status is not a promise of approval. The final decision is made by the downstream carriers and the registry. The check is useful for catching missing fields and weak wording before you pay for vetting.

Do Aircall toll-free numbers use A2P 10DLC?

No. Aircall says 10DLC only covers standard 10-digit local numbers. US and Canadian toll-free numbers need a separate toll-free verification, which you start by contacting Aircall support. It asks for your website, opt-in description, and proof of opt-in.
