Rejected by carriers? The website is one of the most common reasons. Fix it today →

Telnyx reviews your campaign first, then sends it to carriers. Both steps look at your website, your policies, and the way people sign up for texts. Telnyx publishes a detailed compliance guide (dated August 2026), and this page walks through what it says about your website.

10DLC Site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Telnyx. Provider names are used only to describe where information goes. This page describes the flow as documented at the time of writing (Updated September 2026). Screens change, so follow what you see in your account.

Where do the website URLs go in Telnyx's registration?

URL Where it goes in Telnyx
Business website (homepage) Your brand, which you select when creating the campaign. Look for a field labeled something like "Website" in brand details.
Privacy policy Campaign form, Privacy Policy URL field. Telnyx says the link can also appear in your call-to-action.
Terms and conditions (with SMS terms) Campaign form, Terms and Conditions URL field. It can also appear in your call-to-action.
Opt-in page or evidence Campaign Message Flow (40 to 2,048 characters). Describe how people opt in and where.

Here is the flow in plain steps, based on Telnyx's help articles:

  1. In the Mission Control Portal, go to Messaging > Compliance, then the 10DLC Campaigns tab. (One Telnyx guide shortens this to Messaging > 10DLC.)
  2. Select your brand.
  3. Choose your use case and vertical.
  4. Write the campaign description (40 to 4,096 characters).
  5. Add sample messages. Telnyx asks for at least 1 per use case, and 2 for marketing.
  6. Write your Message Flow, and add the Privacy Policy URL and Terms and Conditions URL.
  7. Fill in opt-in, opt-out, and help keywords and messages, plus content attributes. Then submit.

What does Telnyx check on your website?

Telnyx's compliance articles list these points:

  • Call-to-action. It must include your program or brand name, a product description, message frequency, a note that standard message and data rates may apply, STOP and HELP instructions, a terms link (not a pop-up), and a privacy policy link.
  • Text-only consent. The opt-in language must be for texts only. Email or phone call consent must be separate.
  • Optional phone field. Telnyx says the phone field on web forms should be optional.
  • Brand-specific privacy policy. Not a reseller's policy or a generic template, and clearly labeled. It should say information won't be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. If you share other data, add a line that excludes SMS opt-in data and consent.
  • Complete terms. Program name, description, frequency, customer care contact, how to opt out, and rates.
  • Verbal opt-ins. Telnyx's 2026 guide says verbal opt-ins for marketing, political, and charity campaigns now require double opt-in.

How much does Telnyx charge, and how long does review take?

  • Brand registration: a one-time fee. Telnyx lists $4.50 in one place and $4 in another, so confirm the current amount in your account.
  • Campaign verification: $15, charged when your campaign goes downstream for carrier review. Telnyx says its own review is free. Its Requirements article describes the $15 as applying per submission or resubmission.
  • Timeline: carrier review typically takes 72 business hours after Telnyx approves the campaign.

Fees change. Check Telnyx's current pricing before you submit, since a resubmission may cost another $15.

How do I get a website that passes Telnyx review?

Use this checklist before you submit:

  1. The site matches your brand name and your sample messages. See brand name match.
  2. It has a brand-specific privacy policy. See privacy policy.
  3. It has SMS terms on a real page, not a pop-up. See SMS terms.
  4. Its form has an optional phone field and a text-only consent checkbox. See opt-in form.
  5. It shows contact details and real content pages. See business contact info and content pages.
  6. It is live and not parked. See no parked sites.

10DLC Site builds these pages and gives you the exact URLs to paste into Telnyx: homepage, privacy policy, terms, and opt-in page. You still submit the campaign yourself, and carriers make the final decision. Using another provider? See the any-provider guide.
