Rejected by carriers? The website is one of the most common reasons. Fix it today →

Plivo's registration guidelines are specific about your website. They name the pages it should have, the security it needs, and the details your signup language must include. Plivo also says exact name matching matters: "Yourbusiness, Inc." is not the same as "Yourbusiness."

10DLC Site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Plivo. Provider names are used only to describe where information goes. This page describes the flow as documented at the time of writing (Updated September 2026). Screens change, so follow what you see in your account.

Where do the website URLs go in Plivo's registration?

URL Where it goes in Plivo
Business website (homepage) Profile screen, website URL
Privacy policy Campaign screen. Look for a field labeled something like "Privacy Policy URL." Also link it in your call-to-action.
Terms and conditions (with SMS terms) Campaign screen. Look for a field labeled something like "Terms and Conditions URL." Also link it in your call-to-action.
Opt-in page or evidence Campaign screen, in your call-to-action and opt-in method description

Here is the Console flow Plivo describes:

  1. Profile screen. Enter company info, website URL, industry, EIN, address, and contacts.
  2. Brand screen. Register your brand from that profile.
  3. Campaign screen. Describe your campaign, call-to-action, and opt-in method, and add your terms and privacy links.
  4. Review results. Plivo says rejected campaigns show an error code and a reason.

What does Plivo check on your website?

Plivo's registration guidelines list these points:

  • HTTPS. The website must use HTTPS with SSL.
  • Real content. No boilerplate or template content.
  • Key pages. About Us, Contact Us, Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy.
  • Phone number. Ideally, the site mentions the phone number used in your brand registration.
  • Exact legal name. Company name and EIN must match your tax registration document exactly.
  • Business email. Gmail, Yahoo, or disposable addresses are likely to be rejected.
  • Call-to-action. Brand name, message frequency, a note that message and data rates may apply, links to terms and privacy, STOP and HELP instructions, and the opt-in method.
  • Terms page. It should restate the disclosures from your call-to-action.
  • Privacy policy. It should include a clause saying you do not share mobile information.

Plivo also says it will not approve certain categories. Its list includes third-party lead generation, debt relief, gambling, cannabis, SHAFT content, and real estate. Check Plivo's full list before you build.

How do I get a website that passes Plivo review?

Use this checklist before you submit:

  1. The site uses HTTPS. See SSL and HTTPS.
  2. It has About Us and Contact Us pages with real content. See content pages and business contact info.
  3. It shows your exact legal business name. See brand name match.
  4. It has a privacy policy with a no-sharing clause. See privacy policy.
  5. It has terms that repeat your SMS disclosures. See SMS terms.
  6. It has an opt-in form with complete consent text. See opt-in form.

10DLC Site builds these pages and gives you the exact URLs to paste into Plivo: homepage, privacy policy, terms, and opt-in page. You still submit the registration yourself, and carriers make the final decision. For other providers, see the any-provider guide.
