What website does Heymarket need for 10DLC registration?

Quick answer

Heymarket's 10DLC form asks for your company website, and your opt-in flow must include a URL showing your opt-in wording plus a screenshot. Heymarket's help center also asks for an easy-to-find privacy policy that rules out sharing opt-in data, and a standalone, clearly labeled SMS terms page.

This page is for teams that text customers from a shared Heymarket inbox. Heymarket says every account sending from a 10-digit number to US phones must complete 10DLC registration. Unregistered numbers get blocked. Your website is where reviewers confirm your business is real and that contacts agreed to get texts.

10DLC Site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Heymarket. Provider names are used only to describe where information goes. This page describes the flow as documented at the time of writing (Updated September 2026). Screens change, so follow what you see in your account.

Which registration does Heymarket use, and who submits it?

Heymarket uses 10DLC for local numbers and toll-free verification for toll-free numbers. You fill in the form inside Heymarket, and Heymarket handles the submission. An owner or admin opens the 10DLC Registration page and progress shows in the Administration section. Heymarket's help articles mention Twilio's A2P team and Twilio's unregistered-number error 30034. That suggests registrations pass through Twilio, so our Twilio guide also applies.

Heymarket lists five review stages:

  1. Submit form.
  2. Submission prescreening by the Heymarket team.
  3. Company verification (legal name and tax ID).
  4. Primary review of messaging and opt-in by providers and carriers.
  5. Secondary review of messaging and opt-in. Passing this stage completes registration.

Where do the website URLs go in Heymarket's 10DLC form?

URL Where it goes in Heymarket
Business website (homepage) Additional Company Information, Company Website field.
Opt-in page Messaging Opt-in/Opt-out Flow. Heymarket asks for a URL showing your opt-in wording and a screenshot.
Privacy policy No separate field in Heymarket's form article. Link it in the opt-in flow answer and on your opt-in form.
Terms and conditions (with SMS terms) Same: link it in the opt-in flow answer and on your opt-in form.

The form also needs your legal company name and EIN, which must match tax records. It asks for a Description of Messaging Use Case and 2 sample messages. At least one sample needs opt-out wording, and templated fields go in brackets.

Included in your Registration Kit: the Description of Messaging Use Case, the Messaging Opt-in/Opt-out Flow text, and sample messages written for your use case, plus the exact homepage, opt-in, privacy and terms URLs, ready to paste into Heymarket. Build my order →

What does Heymarket check on your website?

Heymarket's help center lists three things to confirm before you submit:

  • Explicit opt-in. Your opt-in wording must show your company name, message frequency, data rates, STOP to opt out, and HELP for help.
  • A privacy policy. Easy to find, current, and clear about how data is collected, used, and shared. It should say you do not sell or share opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
  • Terms and conditions. A standalone, clearly labeled page. It should cover your business name, message types, frequency, rates, STOP and HELP, and a support contact.

For web forms, Heymarket asks for a phone field, a consent checkbox that is not pre-checked, the disclosure text, and links to your privacy policy and terms. If the form is on a private site, host a screenshot on a public link.

Why did my Heymarket 10DLC registration fail?

Heymarket shows a Failed (Action Required) status when a stage does not pass. It asks you to contact support. These are the causes Heymarket names:

Cause named by Heymarket Fix page
EIN and legal business name do not match Brand EIN mismatch
Opt-in information was not sufficient Opt-in not verifiable
No proof of opt-in (no URL, screenshot, or image) Opt-in not verifiable
Privacy policy used as the only opt-in proof Opt-in form
Verbal, implied, or informal consent Opt-in form
Privacy policy hard to find or allows sharing Privacy policy missing SMS language
Terms missing or not a standalone page Missing SMS terms

How long does review take, and what does it cost?

Heymarket does not publish a fixed timeline. Its registration article says carriers may take several days to decide at each stage. An older help article quoted carrier partners at 2 to 3 weeks for vetting. Heymarket also warns that you may see carrier filtering until you pass Stage 5.

On cost, Heymarket's pricing page says $10 per month per campaign covers all 10DLC registration and compliance. Carrier message fees are separate. Heymarket's docs do not list a separate resubmission fee. Check the pricing page before you act.

Heymarket gotchas to know

  1. One pre-checked-box note conflicts with the rest. Heymarket's opt-in article lists "Checkbox (not pre-checked)." One later note in the same article mentions a pre-checked box. Follow the unchecked rule. Reviewers reject pre-checked boxes.
  2. Mixed use needs two checkboxes. For a mixed campaign, such as marketing plus customer care, Heymarket recommends separate boxes for informational and marketing texts.
  3. Set up inboxes first. A team with no inboxes or numbers shows "Ineligible for 10DLC" and cannot register yet.
  4. Toll-free has its own check. Heymarket says toll-free numbers go through a separate verification with similar opt-in rules. See toll-free verification.

How do I get a website that passes Heymarket review?

  1. The site is live, public, and matches your legal business name. See brand name match.
  2. It shows your services and contact details. See business contact info.
  3. It loads over https. See SSL and HTTPS.
  4. Its privacy policy is easy to find and rules out sharing opt-in data. See privacy policy.
  5. It has a standalone SMS terms page. See SMS terms.
  6. Its opt-in form has an unchecked box, full disclosure, and links to both policies. See opt-in form.

10DLC Site builds these pages and gives you the exact URLs to paste into Heymarket. You still submit the registration yourself, and carriers make the final decision. For other providers, see the any-provider guide.

Frequently asked questions

Does Heymarket register 10DLC for me?

You fill out the 10DLC Registration form inside Heymarket, and Heymarket handles the submission. Its team prescreens your form, then your company and messaging go through carrier reviews. You still supply all the business details, website, and opt-in proof yourself.

Where do I put my privacy policy and terms in Heymarket's 10DLC form?

Heymarket's form lists a Company Website field but no separate privacy or terms URL fields in its help article. Put the links in your Messaging Opt-in/Opt-out Flow answer, and make sure your opt-in form links to both pages.

How long does Heymarket 10DLC registration take?

Heymarket's help center says carriers may take several days to decide at each stage. An older Heymarket article said carrier partners quoted 2 to 3 weeks for vetting. There are five stages, so plan for more than a few days.

How much does Heymarket charge for 10DLC?

At the time of writing, Heymarket's pricing page says a $10 per month per campaign charge covers all 10DLC registration and compliance for your account. Carrier message fees are separate. Check Heymarket's pricing page for current amounts.

Why did my Heymarket 10DLC registration fail?

Heymarket's help center names two common reasons: the EIN and legal business name do not match, and the opt-in information was not sufficient. A status of Failed (Action Required) means you need to contact Heymarket support and supply more information.

Can I use my privacy policy as proof of opt-in on Heymarket?

No, Heymarket's blog lists this as a common mistake. A privacy policy can support your registration, but it is not proof of opt-in on its own. Show a real opt-in point, such as a web form with an unchecked SMS checkbox, and include a screenshot.
