Commio needs a live, secure website that matches your brand name, with a privacy policy and terms that are easy to find from the home page. You paste their direct URLs into the campaign's Privacy Policy Link and Terms and Conditions Link fields. Commio says the review team reads your privacy policy in full.
This page is for businesses and software platforms that send US texts on Commio numbers (Commio was formerly thinQ). You register a brand and a campaign, then assign numbers to the approved campaign. Reviewers use your website to confirm the business is real and that people agreed to get texts.
10DLC Site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Commio. Provider names are used only to describe where information goes. This page describes the flow as documented at the time of writing (Updated September 2026). Screens change, so follow what you see in your account.
Commio uses A2P 10DLC through The Campaign Registry (TCR), and you submit the brand and campaign yourself in the Commio portal. Commio's guide says to log in, open Messaging, then the Campaign Registry page. Commio sends what you submit to TCR for vetting. You can also register brands directly with TCR. After approval, you get an email and can assign numbers to the campaign.
| URL | Where it goes in Commio |
|---|---|
| Business website (homepage) | Brand registration. Commio's guide lists website for public companies and government entities. Its checklist says every brand needs a live website that DCAs will check. |
| Privacy policy | Campaign form, Privacy Policy Link field. Use the direct link to the page. |
| Terms and conditions (with SMS terms) | Campaign form, Terms and conditions Link field. If you have no separate terms page, Commio says the disclosures can go in the call-to-action. |
| Opt-in page or opt-in evidence | Call-to-Action / Message Flow. Link every page with an opt-in. Upload screenshots or forms under Supporting Documentation. |
Commio calls Call-to-Action / Message Flow one of the most heavily scrutinized sections. It should cover your brand or program name, message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, and HELP and STOP instructions. For verbal opt-in, include the script the agent reads.
Included in your Registration Kit: the campaign description, Call-to-Action / Message Flow text, and sample messages written for your use case, plus the exact privacy, terms, homepage and opt-in URLs, ready to paste into Commio. Build my order →
Commio's help center and checklist describe what reviewers look for:
The Commio docs reviewed here do not publish a numbered code list. They do name these causes:
| Cause named by Commio | Fix page |
|---|---|
| Use case does not match opt-in wording (for example, the opt-in mentions promotions but Marketing was not selected) | Sample messages mismatch |
| Call-to-action missing brand, frequency, rates, HELP, or STOP | Opt-in not verifiable |
| Privacy policy allows sharing personal info or phone numbers | Privacy policy missing SMS language |
| Opt-in hidden behind a multi-page form or login with no screenshot | Opt-in not verifiable |
| Opt-in bundled with email or calls, or a required phone field | Opt-in form |
| Public URL shorteners in messages | Sample messages mismatch |
| Website does not match the brand, or brand is the agency, not the business | Website does not match brand |
Commio says DCA campaign review can take up to 10 business days on average. Brand checks are automated, so its checklist says to expect brand status updates within minutes.
On cost, Commio's SMS Campaign Guide (updated May 2025) lists:
| Item | Fee in Commio's guide |
|---|---|
| Brand registration | $4 |
| Resubmit an unverified brand | $4 |
| Vetting through the portal (Aegis) | $40 |
| Most campaign use cases, such as Marketing or Customer Care | $10 |
| Low Volume Mixed | $2 |
| Charity | $5 |
Commio's 2024 checklist adds a $15 DCA review fee and says fees are charged per attempt, not per approval. Its campaign amounts differ from the newer guide, so check Commio's current pricing before you resubmit.
10DLC Site builds these pages and gives you the exact URLs to paste into Commio. You still submit the registration yourself, and carriers make the final decision. For other providers, see the any-provider guide.

In the Privacy Policy Link field of the campaign form. Commio asks for the direct link to your privacy policy page and says the review team reads it fully. There is a matching Terms and Conditions Link field for your terms page.
Commio's help center says the policy must clearly state that no personal information, including phone numbers, is shared with outside parties, affiliates, or third parties. Personal information should never be shared or sold. A short line such as mobile information won't be shared is the idea.
Commio's help center says campaign review by the DCA can take up to 10 business days on average after you submit. Commio's registration checklist also warns that approvals can take as long as 10 days. Status shows in the portal and via API.
Commio says no. Its help center says a mandatory phone number field counts as forced opt-in. Make the phone field optional, and put SMS consent wording at the bottom of the form, covering frequency, rates, and your brand name.
Probably not. Commio's help center says reviewers likely will not click through a multi-page questionnaire and may reject the campaign. Screenshot the final page with the opt-in wording and upload it as supporting documentation. Do the same for opt-ins behind a login.
Commio's SMS Campaign Guide, last updated May 2025, lists a $4 brand registration fee, $4 to resubmit an unverified brand, and $40 for vetting through the portal via Aegis. Campaign fees vary by use case. Check Commio's current pricing before you submit.
